Welcome!
What is more central to how we live and how we die than knowing and being known by Jesus Christ? So often we find ourselves fighting for, thinking about, resting in, working towards, and finding joy in other things besides Jesus, ultimately to our own demise. It is so easy in the western world to lose sight of what is going on eternally, outside of the current moment in which we are living. What Christ offers is new life that is to be lived in light of eternity, a life that remembers that this time on earth is only temporary. Our heart's treasures must not be found amongst the earthy things of this life, but rather, our highest and greatest treasure must be God Himself. Does that sound crazy? Living every moment of our lives with God as our constant focus? Well, to those whose eyes have not been opened to see the beauty of Christ, it sounds like an enigma. But to those, who by God's grace, have seen the delight found only in Him, it is impossible to imagine life any other way, even though we still continue to fail. Scarcely have any of us even begun to plumb the depths of the riches found in the life lived focused on Jesus. So much joy is waiting to found! We hope that you will find something different about this site. We cannot speak concerning all that can be known about the Lord, nor can we speak without error about the things we do know. Nevertheless, we hope that you see a small family seeking to live in light of eternity, improving the time for the sake the Kingdom and God's glorious name! May the Lord bless you on your journey. It is a journey filled with much heartache, but ultimately the Lamb receives His reward, and those in Him will have everlasting joy! |
